Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

Is the quote really free?

Yes, and there's no catch attached to it. A licensed plumber looks at the job and hands you a number, and you're free to walk away from it without paying anything.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No, the $0 call-out fee covers a licensed plumber assessing your job on site. Payment only comes into it once you've approved the quote for the actual repair.

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

New customers who book online get $65 taken off the invoice once the job's finished. It's not restricted to certain jobs; it applies across whatever work we've done for you.

Does the price change once you start?

It shouldn't, since what you approve upfront is what lands on the invoice. On the rare occasion something unexpected shows up mid-job, we down tools and talk you through a revised number first.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

A handful of things are fine to handle yourself, mainly shutting a valve or isolating water at the meter. Beyond that, NSW law puts pipework and gas work squarely in licensed hands.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

As a rule, everything from your fixtures through to the point your pipes join the street main falls to you. Past that junction, it becomes Sydney Water's fault to fix, not ours or yours.

Can you check my licence number?

Of course. It's #465156C, and the NSW licensing register is public, so feel free to look it up yourself before we set foot on the property.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

It means our workmanship is covered indefinitely, not for twelve months or some other cut-off. If a repair we did fails because of how it was done, putting it right doesn't land back on your invoice.

Common questions

Booking, Timing and Same-Day Service

What happens after I call?

Someone picks up who can actually act on what you're describing, not read from a script. A plumber gets sent, assesses the job in person, and puts a number to it before touching anything.

How fast can you get here?

Same-day is the goal whenever we can manage it, though we won't promise an arrival window we can't keep. If your particular job doesn't fit that, we'll say so honestly on the call.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Anything actively spraying, pooling or running where it shouldn't, a gas smell, or sewage coming back into the house. A tap that's merely dripping or a drain running slow usually holds fine until a normal visit.

How do I book?

Phoning us directly is the quickest route. If talking right now isn't convenient, the form on our contact page gets a real person calling you back instead.

Common questions

The Turramurra Questions

Do you cover the suburbs next to Turramurra?

We do. Pymble, Wahroonga, St Ives, Gordon and Killara are all part of our normal round alongside Turramurra, with nothing different about the pricing or the plumber sent.

How local are you, really?

Turramurra's where we're rooted, and the Ku-ring-gai streets around it see our vans often enough that a callout out this way is routine, not an exception.

Why do Turramurra's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

Plenty of housing stock here goes back to the Federation years through to the mid-century decades, and pipework laid down that long ago, hot water systems and original clay drains especially, is well overdue for trouble.

What suburbs do you service around Turramurra?

Pymble, Wahroonga, St Ives, Gordon and Killara round out the district we cover, each serviced by the same team you'd get calling from Turramurra itself.
